Starting salary: £31,907 (which includes £2,000 South-East allowance). On the current salary scales, after seven years of service your salary will be in excess of £50,000 (which includes £2,000 South-East allowance).
Competitive annual leave entitlement: 25 days paid leave each year, continually rising until 30 days paid leave at ten years service.

We offer two training options to joining as an officer, from here we will then help you choose your specialism, and support you if you would like to become a detective constable

A 2 year programme focused on the role of being a police constable without studying for a degree or diploma whilst you complete your probation. No degree is required.

A 2 year programme, where should you show vision, drive, and determination, provides career development opportunities and supports you to unlock your potential.
Degree Holder Entry Programme – We are not currently recruiting via the DHEP route however we encourage you to apply to become an Officer and we will help you decide which entry route is best for you.
